Housel Bay Hotel, Lizzard, Cornwall

Designed and built in the early 1890s with the approval of Prime Minister William Gladstone, Housel Bay is a fine example of late Victorian architecture. The Cornish Coast Path runs through the hotel gardens and provides access east and west to many of the most stunning locations in the British mainland's most southerly county. The tidal beach can be reached from steps directly from the property. Every room has an en suite bathroom and a TV for guests to enjoy, and some also have a seating area. There are 2 restaurants serving breakfast, lunches, snacks and dinner. The Terrace features panoramic views of Housel Bay, the garden and the Lizard Peninsula. The Fallowfields restaurant serves locally sourced ingredients. Guests can enjoy a glass of wine on the wide terrace or lower deck before dining in the veranda or more formal dining room.
